Dinagyang season is almost here, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned from experiencing it, it’s this. Where you stay can truly make or break your festival experience.

Dinagyang days are long. You’re out early, walking a lot, watching performances, and hopping from one area to another. By the end of the day, you just want a comfortable place to rest and reset. So if you’re coming to Iloilo for Dinagyang, here are the hotels I would personally consider staying at, organized by location, depending on how close you want to be to the action or how much comfort you want after a long day. 


🌆 1. Iloilo City Proper / Downtown Area
(Walkable to Dinagyang sites and main parade routes)




📍 CITADINES AMIGO ILOILO
Why stay here:
• Super central location in Iloilo City Proper, minutes away from Calle Real, museums, plazas, restaurants, and festival streets
• Spacious serviced apartment style rooms that give you space and comfort, great for families or longer stays
• Easy walk to public transport if you plan to explore the city between performances and parades




📍 DAYS HOTEL BY WYNDHAM ILOILO
Why stay here:
• Located in City Proper, close to Iloilo Provincial Capitol and parade routes where the Ati Tribe competitions happen
• Good balance of comfort and accessibility to nightlife, heritage sites, and local food hubs
